The installation location of a wall-mounted fan coil unit directly affects its cooling/heating effect and airflow distribution. Choosing the right position can maximize the performance of the unit and improve indoor comfort.

For cooling mode, the ideal installation location is on the wall above the window, about 2-2.3 meters above the ground. This position allows the cold air to sink naturally after being blown out, forming a gentle air circulation throughout the room, avoiding direct blowing on people. For heating mode, the unit should be installed as low as possible on the wall (preferably near the ground) to ensure that the warm air is delivered to the lower part of the room first, solving the problem of cold feet caused by rising hot air.
It is also necessary to avoid installing the unit near heat sources such as stoves or radiators, as well as in corners with poor air circulation. Additionally, the unit should be kept at a certain distance from furniture such as beds and sofas to prevent airflow obstruction and ensure uniform indoor temperature distribution.
