For optimal cooling and heating performance, install a Kasuo wall-mounted fan coil unit on an exterior wall, ideally above a window or door, with at least 150 mm clearance from the ceiling. The unit should be centered in the room to ensure even air distribution. Avoid placing it behind curtains, furniture, or shelves – obstructions block airflow and cause short-circuiting of supply and return air. The recommended mounting height is 2.1 to 2.3 meters from the floor. The condensate drain hose must slope downward continuously (at least 1% gradient) to prevent water backup. Also ensure the power supply matches the unit's label (220V/50Hz or 60Hz). For rooms longer than 6 meters, consider two smaller units instead of one oversized unit – this eliminates hot/cold spots.
